Hello everyone, Vosper is back to singapore. For the past one and a half year i wasn't really around in singapore. I have been to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam for my school attachment. It is a good experience to go oversea for attachment, i even got the chance to see how the outside world is like and most of all is the SHOPPING that i am crazy for!! haha My mum always say me " u got only one pair of leg but....." because i currently got 14pair of shoe at home excluding my 3pair of bri! haha hmm i think if you are my friend in my facebook, you could have already see all my update of my life n photo while i am oversea so i shall not say more about it. haha Ok, from now on My blog is going to be active again. WOW!! Ok, go to stop here. Bye~

It’s been a long time since I last update my blog. On the 19 Oct, I have made a departure from this small lion-city to the biggest spot in the map. A place where you can find the biggest mirror in the world and it is sightless sometimes. Haha I am back to the SEA again! Currently I am in batam and this is the 2nd I made a visit to batam since I depart from Singapore. Not forgetting that I visit Vietnam twice too and I am pretty surprise that what I use to think about Vietnam doesn’t appear in my see when I am in Vietnam. The Vietnam in this century is totally different compare to the past. I bet you can hardly tell me she is Vietnam if I had taken a photo of the city to show you. Haha Ya, a got a new partner for this trip, his name is Jasper and am Vosper!!! Once again I am lucky to have a good partner that is so friendly and easy to mix around with. Three months more to the day that I can see my girlfriend, my family and my friends. But somehow I am not looking forward to the day because I hardly got extra time to look forward of the day as my mind is fully loaded with the things I have to learn. However I still miss them a lot. Now I am wondering how my girlfriend is, is she having a tough time with her work? Wondering is my family taking care of themselves while I am not around. Haha Nah, I think they are doing good even I am not around just like how I am now.
Ok, I have to say batam is boring because I have been hanging around in batam for days. I still prefer Vietnam as it is a more interesting than here. But what to do, Vessel stay Crew stay. Haha ok la , got to make a stop here because my partner is boring without me talking to him. haha

So so farking long never update my blog le. Has been very busy lately but there is something important to me that i have to post today! Ytd i went town with jia ni for a movie. We watch the phobia2, it is a scary and funny movie but i think that jiani is more scary and funny than the movie!! hahaha It is really a wonderful day and i really like the photo we took although i look the same in all the photo. haha Her friend tot that i am her bf but sry i am not, so you guys don mistaken also. But i hope oneday i can be.

It's either something wrong with my laptop or the blogger server. I wasn't able to upload any photo despite trying again and again for the past few days. Since the day I am back, today is the first day I am home-d for the whole day. But even stay at home for the whole day, I just get myself a good dream. I reach home around 4, sleep around 7 and I wake up at 9 due to an inconsiderate father that on the volume of the TV so loud.

Everyone tells me, we're the best years of our life. The thing they don't tell you is they are all full of strife. What's so good about being a teen? I rather remain as a child. From a child to a teen, in less than a year. It's a lot to deal with, you have to grow up fast. As a child you're free, as a teen you feel locked up. A child has no worries, A teen has a lot. You learn the meaning of love, you discover broken hearts. The worries of being accepted, are the hardest part of all. What's the "best" about these years. When as a teen, you live in fear. I rather remain as a child.

It has been a long time since i last update my blog. On board Vessel -LEWEK PETREL for 130days , away from singapore for 135days. Now i am back to sg but i hardly can find the smile that i have shown in the photo again. Somehow i feel so alone when i am back. Maybe i use to stay in a same room with friend for months, stay in the same place with them for months and when ever i open my eyes i can see them waiting for me. Even when i am back i received B'dae wish from them and message from them asking how's life in s'pore and so on but....... I really enjoy this 4month+ out from this no mercy country. The photo below compound of the last month before i sign off. Life at there is so much simple than here but i feel more comfortable at there rather than here. Which mean i am those simple guy that like to have a simple life with a simple love. Ya, i need a simple love but who will give it to me? looking for years but i don't see any. All i need is a simple girl that can give me a simple love and i totally hard people to get near me for some reason that benefits them. So people fuck off if you are entering my life for the sick of those reason, what i can give is a pure heart that can truely be trust in term of relationship or friendship. Anybody is welcome to enter my life if you wants to received a simple n pure heart from me.

For the past two week, my vessel is under static towing Ensco-52. I counted myself fortunate because this is my first vessel and I am able to experience towing of rig. Since I said it is fortunate, I dare not let myself rest and keep observing every single planning, operation and navigating. It is because every single moment including the weather and sea is very critical in towing operation. Therefore everybody dare no neglect the duties assign to them and take good care of their health so that they could participate in the operation in their hundred percent.
I will roughly describe what we have done before we start the towing operation; I assisted second officer in the passage planning under the coach of our captain. Every single chart and publication must not be left out and therefore we come out with a check list so that we will not miss out any information related for the passage. Follow by inspection of all the bridge equipment functioning, all the deck equipment for example the capstan, towing pin and shackle etc. that required for towing are available and well maintain. After that I observe Captain, Chief Officer and Chief Engineer doing the calculation for our vessel’s stability. Weather and tide throughout the towing should take into account as well. ROB for provision and Liquid cargo must be check and able to last throughout the whole operation, hence some basic calculation is required. Discuss our planning for the operation with the bash master and adjustment for the plan if needed. Subsequently some preparation and installation for example fixing the wire protector, shackle etc is to be done before commencing towing.
Once everything is prepared, commence connecting of towing wire and start towing of rig. In the mean time we have to put on the signal for towing in the day and night time as order in the ROR. Once the towing wire is connected, a towing report has to be done every three hour and stop only when we disconnect the towing wire. During towing operation, stress of towing wire, stability of vessel and rig and towing connection must consistently be check. As well as taking the sounding for portable water and fuel oil everyday. Crew on duty must be on the ball at all times and any neglect of safety must not take place. Working on main deck is not allowed for the period of towing and therefore only maintenance and housekeeping inside the accommodation. We are allowed to put out our towing connection only when the rig has completed with the installation in the sea, hence a disconnected few days after we reach the final location.
After disconnecting the towing line, we have to inspect, repair and wash up all the equipment we had used as well as washing the deck. At the same time our vessel had to standby close at hand to the rig in case of emergency and wait for the rig to get settled down.
From what i have observed and learned I could said that it is people who control the vessel, and it is therefore people, together with management and teamwork, who are the key to reliable performance. Everybody must be competent to carry their duties not only when towing but at all time when we are out at sea.

I aM here with a good/bad news. haha I will only be back in first 2week of sep. So issit a good or bad? i donno, to me it is both. haha Good is that i can learn more and fast clock my sea time but in another hand i will cannot celebrate my sistaz queenie b'dae , YL b'dae, my sis b'dae and even my bdae. But nvm la , extend 1month plus only. Time past by very fast and i am already at here nearly 3month so what is the 1month more. haha Tired to type too much, everyday sleep for 5hour work for 14hour n the rest is makan time and bathing time. I am really working very hard and also give in my 100%. Even my shit also become hard ah. hahahaha hais tired ah but bo bian i am still under training. Once i become an officer , haha sure good life liao. haha

Hello everyone, vosper is back to blog but not to Singapore yet. anyone sad? haha
Life here is still the same but i think i have become a better person now. muahaha As is mature and more understanding person now. Don't believe, when i am back and you can see the different.
I am kinden fall in love with sea man life and getting use to it now. Out to sea for few days or weeks and then back to shore. When i am back to shore, went shopping, clubbing and enjoy. haha good life? Is like normal thing i do in singapore but only different is i tend to made full use of my every single minute. Wake up in the morning, start house keeping and then deck maintenance blah blah blah, after knock off, wash up myself( i normally took 1hour) haha and then watch moive while having my dinner. After that force myself to study at least 1hour everyday. Mid-night go bridge to watch keeping, these is the time when i could really learn about navigation. haha imagine me steering the vessel i am onboard now. Cool uh? 10k house power ah, don siao siao. Nah i observe, experience and encounter to many thing until i don't know how to start typing it all. But if you want to know more, wait for me to come back to singapore and i will slowly tell you my whole journal. ahah

Finally i got sometime to blog. hahaha Most fun part out at sea is when i have no worry about my daily expenses cause everything on board is free . Only thing i am worry about is my family, hais. And also i will think of her sometime. Issitz i once loved her too much? Or issitz i hate her too deep? Or maybe i still cant forget her? Since is hard to forget , lets not forget about it but try to keep it as a memorise.

I have too much fun on board and again i is hard for me to write all out. I got 3big brother that really treat me like their younger brother and also their joke also keep my day awake. Only thing i can said about them is funny,interesting,caring and also LAME! haha Ya my 1st impression to them is the same as what i gave the people in sg, lazy and come from rich family hence cannot take dirty job or hard work. Nah after they work with me for this few week they slowly understand me more,know my personality and ask about my family info. Photo below is some of the fun i have on board with them.

Hello everybody,friends&family Vosper i here! muahahah finally able to online after 8day out at sea. Now my vessel is along side and i ask Captain to lend me the USB internet connection.haha 1st i gonna update my life out at sea. Simply i have to wake up 6a.m. in the morning to wash up and start work around 7a.m. and i knock off at 7p.m. . From 7-6 is my rest time but of cause i don't slp so early la. Usually i will play few round of dota with my partner/Chatchit with the crew member here/study with the help of all yhe people on board/Fishing/And i will have supper everynight before i sleep. haha The food here i tell you uh , i don get fat also cannot ah. haha freeflow for everything, variety of different country food&drink. Haiya many many la i tell you. Ang, tell you uh the salmon/tuna/chicken/mutton/mike all freeflow and you can eat it anytime you want. haha You can eat 10-20 egg per day also okay ah. haha you should have join my course sia. Not only food ah, when i am back you can see the different me ah. Using lot of strength from every parts of your body everyday just like what you do in gym, Work under the sun and get tanned just like you go for suntan. haha All the crew member here communicate in malay only me and 2nd eng. speak eng. Plus more than half of the crew member is not welly educated so the english dictionary is very limited la. Siao liao lor, hence communication problem occur. haha But although we have difficuitive in communicating, we still be able to have lots of fun, laughter and blah blah blah. haha Everybody onboard treat me very good, to some of them i am like their younger brother to some i am like their son. haha I LOVE THE CURRENT CREW MEMBER AH! Song bo!!! Later in photo i will introduce some of them and tell you how they treat me. haha ya, i cut my hair the day before i join the vessel. I use my blade shaver to cut myself hor, don play play uh. Partly because i don't have extra cash for hair cut and also because i don't trust the salon standard here. And i am getting fatter and my skin is getting darker holyshit.Before i start showing those photo i took when i am free, i have some words for the following person.
1st- Ah CHoo(Ah Bu), Ma your ah boy is very good here, in fact better life then in sg i could say cause i fully use every single of my time and the food i eat. Is not that you food is not nice but just that i seldom have the chance to see you have time to cook. haha Don worry so much uh! But the way Happy Mother's Day!! Below these is the 1st present for this mother's day and i will get you the fragrance you in the airport when i am back. haha Those seashell is for your fish tank.

2nd-Oxy( sister ), Jie ah don't worry i am fine. I wout be able to make any call or using of internet because when i am out at sea there is not reception therefore i can't keep in touch with you but i am very fine here. Mama told me that you are worry about me also. haha Actually i feel touched went mama call me cause my hp just get connection not more than 1hour jiu received mama the call liao. Which mean that she is calling me everyday hoping to get to me. Ya, help me tell papa i am fine, don worry also and ask him to takecare. We got so much fun everyday , too much until i don't know how to post it out. haha Basically we enjoy alot at here , we play dota/watch moive/sing song/work out in our room. We have Kfc/A&W/IceCreamWaffles/CupNoodle/Lots of CoCo(our favourite). We explore everywhere in the afternoon looking for interesting places/thing/people. The night life in kemaman, nice uh? Actually it look like thailand to me. Me n my partner eat KFC everyday as there is wifi in the KFC. haha Normal life like what we have in sg just that we tend to go explore everyday since we are still not familiar with here.

eventually we found a better place with wireless, a place wher we have been to since day 1 and yet we only notice there is wireless until today or i can say this evening!!

In sg , we got Mac Wifi but here we gt KFC with Wifi!! wtf i bet if you were us , ue will not notice it also! =.=" But we really have lots of fun here. We enjoy every single min we spend here. every when we are sleeping , there is funny thing abt it too. I cant imagine how i slept when arza is watching soccer and cheering when for goal. I bet i must be tired. When i wake up , arza told n act his reaction when he cheer and look at me sleepin at the same time. Issitz because ue cannot see my handsome face? muahah i am very good here. Simple life , thing is cheap and i share a room with my friend. Actually each of us gt 1room but i put a room empty and share the other 1. The room is as big as a 4RoomFlat living or maybe bigger, that why we are scare. Too big , at night very scary the sia. haha The only problem i should have at here is not a problem anymore. Most of them speak malay here , luckily my partner is a malay. Hello everyone, vosper is here!! I am at Kota Baru now, life is ok here as i still trying to use to the life here. I am now staying in the hotel and my vessel i along the shore already. Will be sailing anytime but i gt a good news which 1week-1 half week is the longest time i will be out at sea. It only mean that i will be at the shore often. Shopping but forget to bring my cards here so i am now so limited to spend. Must control my spending now as just 1 night i spend half of it. Smoke drink and eat alot here, not only eat alot but alot of meal also.

After i done all the stuff for the filght in my company , went down to haji and meet james. Bought a tee and 4UnderGoverment today. Actually thought of having a japanese buffet today but is abit late so we have our dinner at ????? ramen shop. haha After meet up with Shine , P???? and Brell(bra?).

After that went back to panjang for a bbq. Was a last mintue buffet and also a farewell bbq for me? i enjoy alot la. haha lots of joke. Very happy. I slept around 9 in the morning as i calculated i will have sufficent sleep if i am meeting my friend at 6. But again my company had just called up, telling i need to made a trip down to collect my air tickets, agent information and some document at 3p.m. . Okay, now i am tired yet i can't continue sleeping and have to get my ass up and bath now. Wait , worse is i am meeting my friends at 6p.m. . Collecting and signing stuff from company wont took me more than 2hour so what should i do in between 5-6? hm? shop alone 1st? WTF!

Bye Labuan, will still be visiting you but not now.
Changes in the place i am going to, instead of Labuan in east Malaysia
I am now sailing in Kelantan , Kota Baru at North-eastern state in West Malaysia.
I received a call from the company around 11.30a.m. telling me i might be flying to KL-Kelantan-Kota baru tomorrow. After hearing about this, i am awake despite i slept around 8a.m. in the morning. haha Guess what am i doing now? I am downloading songs, drama and movie to watch when i am boring in the ship. Actually downloaded alot of drama but while waiting for my company to call me last week, i finish watching all.
Actually i am hoping to go after this week as this FRIDAY is my paid day. But since my wish i made before i sail was to celebrate zhihua's birthday and now i fulfilled my wish. I am ready to set off.
Have been browsing the net for Kota Baru information since i woke up. Finally i get some idea how Kota Baru is like. haha Its a great place to visit, as it is the most vibrant shopping area in this part of Malaysia, perhaps the most fascinating fresh market to visit. Traders display brilliantly coloured fresh produce and you will see the traders dominated and 'ruled' by the women of Kelantan.( haiya don't know got my age range de ma.)
There is also lot of beautiful beaches to relax myself.
Let me name out some-
Pantai Cahaya Bulan, sometimes called the Beach of Passionate Love or Pantai Cinta Berahi is just like a picture post card
Pantai Bisikan Bayu (Beach of the Whispering Breeze) - is located near Semerak, District of Pasir Puteh
Pantai Irama (Beach of Melody) - in the district of Bachok, about 25 km south of Kota Bharu, is considered as the most beautiful beach along the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is popular with picnickers and campers.<----- Must take some photo if i go there. Conclusion A traditional area , Low living standard( things at there is cheap, good for my pocket ) , alot of beautiful scenes( relaxing with no cost needed ). haha I like everything so much specially about the amount i will spend over there. Slightly changes in my plan , let not say it out first. You will know my plan when i am back for my year 3. haha

Happy Birthday my DEAR ZHIHUA!!! haha

We know each other for 10 year, from friend and now become my best buddy ;one of the important person in my life. Happy birthday Hua Zai, may all your wishes come true.

Spend my afternoon thinking about alot of thing.

Finally i understand what's wrong with me. Because i fear failure so much that i refuse to try new things. When I look back on these worries, I remember the story of the old man who said on his deathbed that he had had a lot of trouble in his life, most of which had never happened. Instead of thinking that in future failure will once occur , i should think another way. As usual it is always easy to said out than do it. But i would indeed be in a poor way if i had to be restrained by fear of failure. So fear , failure please get out of my life!! Vosper Ong Wei Xiong have to do something about it, build up the confident in yourselves like you used to have.

As i am from a poor family with a dad that stop working for years due to infected with some illness when i was in primary six, a mother with no education background and she is trying her very best all this while to support this family. A sister that studying very hard , hoping to help out family in future and she is my family only hope. She stop schooling for 1year just to let my family extra income so that our life will be better. She is going to NTU or NUS( forgotten which one as it sound alike) this year. For me , i always bring trouble to my family. I used to get into police case , education problem , do thing that drag my family along and many many more. One day i will write out my life story, all my mistake that i will remember for my entire life. My family really give my plenty of freedom for example allow to smoke at home since i am in secondary two, able to stay over night outside whenever i want, do any arts on my body, hang out with anybody i like, do thing that i want even they knew i will regret or they will regret someday, not giving me any stress in study just because they want me to do what i like or want, they don't force me to study and that is nothing i can complaint about my family. I heard this from somebody before, "It is fate that bring you to the family. You are fated with every single family member" and i do agree with it. Therefore I have to wake up or i can said i am already awake? Have i done alot for my family? Answer is No, all i did is for myself. I am just too self fish. I always tell people i earn for all my thing, it's truth but what about my family? I constantly give my mum few hundred every month. Do you think is enough? No. Although i don't get any allowance from my parent for the past few year, i work for my allowance but i had brought too much trouble for my family. Just purely say about the incident occur 2years ago, i met in a bike accident and they have to worried for me everyday, paid for my hospital bill which cost nearly 3k( IT IS ALOT TO MY FAMILY) and take leave just to bring accompany me here and there. If only i am more mature that time and have some saving, all these will not happened. One time i have to admit that i do really spent alot and my saving is always temporary. What i have to do now is to control myself in spending and do some saving planning. As my family don't have any backup money for emergency use and these made the saving planning more important.

The saving planning is done after deducting my monthly expenses, event that i made me spend and limited myself the amount to spend on clothing.

I use my life to promise this saving planning.

By 2014 , a total amount of saving i would have saved - 30-35k.

All these planning is possible because i got scholarship and being bonded with company hence i already know my monthly income after my national service. Starting paid and more is already written i the agreement i had sign with my company.

But this saving is for emergency used and also for marriage. Spending all in my marriage although is too less but will do something about it as i want my life partner to remember that day for her entire life.

Vosper Ong aims and going to achieve it in 3years time. So just wait and see everyone, those who look down on me especially the adult( mostly teacher ). Can't said that it is wrong for them to look down on me as i am always marked as the naughty guy in school that don't study. Why i will say mostly is teacher , there is a reason behind it. I went back to secondary school and those teacher who know i get into poly gives me a expression that said " huh you study in poly now, what the fuck. Hard to believe it." Before they know i am currently studying in poly , they will ask what i am doing now. In another hand, they will ask those clever one which school and what courses they are studying now. Even the stall auntie also look down on me, they can ask me which ITE i studies in when i am wearing a Singapore poly tee. I will stop here and going for a supper then continue with my drama.

Last saturday , james and i went for a japanese buffet at Senki Japanese Rest. It is a Ala-Carte buffet which contain 138 different dishes. haha For sure i am not able to try every single dish but i manage to try at least 40!! Not bad liao okay. The Sashime is No.1 ah, i reorder it at least 3time. Cant stop with Raw Fish! The Maguro, Shake, Hamachi, Amaebi, Ika omg feel like eating now. After went for a moive with him then mid night meet jeff,yl,jordon and danny. Last but not least reach home-sweet-home around 8a.m.

Nearly 2a.m. I told him that one of our friend get into a car accident and that friend is in NUS ICU now. So i ask him whether he want to tag along with me to the hospital and he okay. I don't know is so easy to trick him la. He still so on and steady as if i really going down st8. Only after he saw my nick, ANG IS STUPID,APRIL FOOL DAY!! Only then he know he is being fooled by me. By the way don't laugh at him because if i am not wrong you have just being fooled by me too. ^_^ Okay one more funny thing to share , this afternoon i meet up with ang. I accompany him to school and collect his "O" level cert. Hello Mr Ang, when you took your "O" level uh? 2008?2007? Wrong wrong wrong is 2006 -.-" that was like so long ago la. After that i went to his place and slack. Both of us was busy playing TAXES POKER from facebook and browsing the net. Ang sudden felt tired because he never sleep the night before , maybe because fooled by me then wanting to fooled others back but too bad i don't think you will fool anybody. haha Here comes the funny part. I was using laptop just directly beside him as we are sharing one bed, out of sudden this joker shouted this " Q and K only, Don't follow la. So small , fold fold fold!!". I was shock because i wasn't playing taxes poker anymore and i was busying replying SMS. So i turn and look at him, idiot =.=" he is still sleeping and i cannot take it so i LOL, REALLY LAUGH OUT LOUD I TELL YOU. And i wake him up and ask him okay ma, he open his eye and say very tired la let me sleep. I ask him "you talking to who, do you know you just speak to nobody?" He replied " got mehx , don't know la and went back to his sweet dream. WHAHAHAHA idiot sia him. When i am in the bus on my way home , i keep laughing to myself in the bus, other people tot i Ah Siao la.

Marriott Cafe International Buffet @ Marriott Hotel

Last saturday went to marriott for some buffet with james n a girl(sorry uh donno your name). It was a tiring day because before the buffet , james and me went to alot of places. I will just name out a while bugis chapter2 , haji lane, hanabi rest, cityhall and PS. haha Actually we planned to have our diner at senki jp rest but we change our mind and look for a better place for our dinner that day. We saw the comments and rating for marriot's buffet is very good, well recommended by alot of people so we went down without any booking. Luckily we only waited for 1/2hr for sit. I will not say much about buffet because you can understand by looking at my photo. There was alot of different dishes from different culture but as you know it looks abit funny to carry a camera walking around to taking photo at those kind of places. Only until the crowd get lesser then i manage to took some photo.

I was lazy to updated or post my blog lately even i have some photo that i hope to share with you all. Mainly because i got lot of thing in mind but i cant sound it out due to some personal reason. But today i really gt something INTERESTING to share with you all ah.!

The story start like this,
Part1
A Lonely guy that has been single for 2yr+ had finally met her dream girl. He doesn't have much time to be with her as he is about to start sailing to every part of the world. Therefore he requested his company to let him start sailing only after the girl's birthday. His last wish before he set to sail is to celebrate the girl's birthday and give her and him a moment to rmb in their heart. The guy tot of selling his bike away to return some debt, give her mum and keep alittle for himself, but now he is not goin to keep any for himself but for themselves.

Here come the interesting part
Part2
One fine Saturday, the guy woke up around 8a.m. in the morning with only 4hour of sleep before that. The reason for him to wake up so early is because he is dealing his lovely bike on that morning. Here goes his planning for the day, meeting his friend Mr(A) 9a.m. at bp lrt station to get back his bike's key from him then head down to his bike shop at bukit merah to collect his bike. Meet MR(B) and Mr(C) at 11a.m. in LTA to do some document for changing ownership. But none of these above happen. *1st incident* Mr(A) reach bp lrt station at 10.20. Ended up apologise to Mr(C) for wasting his time to call him down and he waited for 1hour.

Went to school to eat with ang while waiting for my bike's buyer to come and view the bike. What i can say is everything doesn't goes to what i planned. Buyer did come to Dover mrt station but my bike wasn't here so i ask them to go down to m y bike shop and view the bike instead. Due to rain , ang reach around 3, but FC3 closed at 3 so we head down to clementi for our lunch/dinner. After went gym in ang house.

Went for supper with my special one ,bought some ingredient for my Monday dinner from the wet market 4a.m. early in the morning.

Last Saturday , i meet up jeff and p.s. to Angnold AiDeNaKe's house to swim. It wasn't very success as half way though , the weather turn bad and heavy rain occurs. Adjustable error for sextant

Error of perpendicularity is caused if index mirror is not perpendicular to the plane of the sextant.
To check for this error ,clamp the index bar to halfway along the arc and hold it horizontally with the arc at the further side and obliquely in the index mirror. If the arc and its reflection appear not to be in a straight line, error of perpendicularity exists.
It can be eliminated by carefully altering the setting of the first adjustable screw, situated on the top of the frame of the index mirror.

Side error is caused if the horizon mirror is not perpendicular to the plane of the sextant.

There is three method to obtain the index error.
A) By observing the horizon, clamp the index to 0 deg 0 minutes and holding the sextant vertical, look of the horizon. The reflected image and the direct image should appear in a perfect line. If not , turn the micrometer until they coincide exactly and its gives the index error.
B)By observing the star/planet, clamp the index at 0 deg 0 minutes and holding the sextant vertical, look at the star/planet. The reflected image and direct image should coincide. If not , turn the micrometer until they do. and it gives the index error.
C)By observing the sun, clamp the index to 32deg 0 minutes ON the arc and hold the sextant vertically. Look at the sun using appropriate shades. If the reflected image of the sun appear below the direct image, turn the micrometer until their closer limbs just touch. Note the reading is ON the arc. If the reflected image of the sun appear to be above the direct image, turn the micrometer until their closer limbs just touch. Note the reading is OFF the arc.

Aeration. Th epresence of the air in the water will affect the speed at which the sound travels though it, since the velocity of sound though air is much less than in water.
main causes of aeration are:
Turbulence caused by having the rubber hard over.
1)Having a light ship which is pitching heavily
2)Having sternway on the vessel
3)Having broken water over shoals
4)Entering an area when prevalent bad weather has left pockets of air bubbles over comparatively long period

Possible cure for the above include stopping or reducing the vessel's speed, and abrupt movement of the rubber either way, to sweep away formed bubbles.

Hey my dear reader , i haven not been updating my blog for a period of time already right. So do any reader miss me? Haha

Last saturday went to town with Eugene , Sam and James for my newyear cloths. Luckily i am able to get a top in the last min shopping. After some shopping , we watch ONG BAK 2 in cine. Rating i gave for this show is only 4/5 due to the stupid eanding they have. Haha Around 10 i went to taka to fetch LiLing after her work and we actually have our dinner at 11. Maybe that can be consider as supper already. After meal , we have slack at youth park and then went home after that.

My room is so clean now. whahah i took 4hr to clean my room. Those letter , photo and present i have kept for nearly 4years after i broke up with her. The reason i am taking the photo of these is because she had married last sep if i am nt wrong. We have been together for 2year8month27day since i am in sec1 and she is in sec3. Omg last week was a farkin busy week for me. Working from the evening until mid night therefore i miss alot of lesson and also i only had 4hr sleep per day. Hai , sad life. The last weekend i spend all my time with my beloved X'mas tree in 4season hotel. Workin for 12hr per day and also meet frien for at least 4hr per day hence i have only 4-5hr to slp after

SONG BO!!!!!!

Today late to school for 2hour ah , freakin dulan with the rain before i go to school. When i am rdy to set off to sch the rain sudden start and is very heavily so i decided to give myself a brk for today . When i am changin back to my home cloth , the rain stop. =.=" I go down to my bike n rdy to go off , the rain start again. wtf~ so i light up a cigaritte while waitin for the rain to stop. The rain is gettin smaller and i quickily take this chance but on the way to sch , the rain went back heavily. In the end , i am wet.
I went to my gems class today , gems is modules that is nt related to ur course and is mix with other courses the ppl. haha luckily out of 25people in m class , i know 2 of them ( lingzhang*sec sch mate* & mei fan*outside friend )
Wanted to go for a jog in the noon but due to the rain , i cancel it. But at night i join zhihua & jincheng in their joggin~

1st day of school (13/10/08) is equal to HELL sia , can't slp before the day. Use to sleep in the day time and go out in the night time in my holiday therefore i slept around 4a.m.

I am the guard of honour for the mactech 2008 in sp!! haha This is totally lame , my title sound nice nia. Is really veri honour to stand outside the office to be as a guard to welcome the minister of donno what la. Wearing full uniform and everybody sweat like just come out from the swimming pool. Lucky there provide meals for us , tell ue ah the food damm shiok ah! Got sushi , prawn , chicken , laksa and alot ah! After the event , finally gt lesson but the lecturer nv come. then we when for a tea break~ Continue with a 1hr lesson and that it for my day!

I go home around 9.30 becox today is my AH BU BIRTHDAY!!

My sis brought her a D24 cake , sushi and also a MP3. My mum was so happy! I forget to buy but i give my mum a TEE and she st8 away wear it~ And also i give her a ANG BAO LA , $300 sia. But okay la , normally i give her 100 to 300 per month~

Once again we went to jianwei house to gym and swim.

Finally i start some excerise. How i wish my can go back to the past. One accident cause me real pain. I can't do weigth lifting , volleyball and basketball as a result i become a fatty without any cutting. What a sad life. But give me 3month , i will do some light weight lifting and also some light excerise. Broken wrist = useless , but a sport man will always be a sport man! I WILL BE BACK!

Today spent my whole day at jianwei's house with WG , PS , Wilbert n jeff. After hiding in the moon for 10months , i finally step out to reach the sun. SUNTAN-ING!!
Follow those big man to the gym , without thinking of my broken wrist i decided to do some light weight lifting.
Teacher of the day WILBERT , he taught us correct way to do front and back flip. He is from NP cheerleading , DECS .

After that i went home for a nap. Went to malaysia in the mid night with Boon , Le , Feng ,Cheng and hao. Wanted to go to a temple we saw the last time round we when in but sad to say it is close in the mid-night. So we don want to waste our time going in and we went for a SUPER DUPER HEAVY SUPPER!!

6 person around 250rm!! Got yeow cai ji , fish , prawn , veg , sotong , tofu and also chicken wing.
